Okay, it's not pretty, but there are a whack of downloads available from the main site now.

Keep going back and looking as I'll update the links as the files become available.

Only thing is... the downloads do not function! :roll:

Edit: Correction The forcelists and quickstart rules are not functioning!

Got the same problem here - the counters and templates work fine but the rules and forcelists don't seem to want to.

Sadly, me too, but nothing is downloading at all for me, unlike for the others--which is probably because DA_Pr0fane is chopping things up in the back (^_ ^). No biggie. Plenty of weekend yet to look forward to getting it! (Quickstart AND Forcelists! Excellent!)

Aside from the small problem of the links not working, I'm suprised to see the quickstart Rules back up, Are these a stripped down version of the rules as stated in Genesis, or the old ones?

Please, get the quickstart forcelists up, not being able to go ahead and play with my mistresses is beginning to itch.

Links are fixed now.

The QuickStart Rules aren't actually available yet, but when they are, they will be a stripped down version of Genesis rules, not the old ruleset.

Guys,

The new rules are great, congrats on Genesis. I really appreciate that you are willing to wait until things are right to publish a final ruleset.

Is there any chance that the new unit/spell cards will be available for download? I don't want to cut the last pages out of my rulebook to get a good flat copy.

The wait for about as painful as it was for us as it was for you.

As far as the cards, the intention was to have you photocopy them from the book. We were going to include them as cut cards instead of the sheet, just could not work out the logistics.

We are currently looking into releasing unit/spell card for each force seperately. I will update you once we know the status. It is probably the best way, better than to eat up your ink cartridge :lol:

Cool, though it lookslike cauterize weapons will make very short work of Mr. Jellybean. A few swings with my warhead and thurough gassing by my Toxic Mistresses and he's down and out.

yeah, I am beginning to have second thoughts of my first faction choice, brood. seems like cauterizing weapons are found in lots of forsaken units, and that's what a lot of people play :cry: not only do you field fewer units with brood, but regeneration isn't all it's crack up to be with all the anti-regen around :sad: hmmm... st. mary then?

Forsaken actually have very few units with cauterize. St. John, St. Mark, and the Firestorms have it, as well as the medics that really don't count.Skarrd just happen to have a to of Toxic, which is nasty against such stuff.

I was mostly comenting on his stats, which seem just on par with the Mutros with the exception of his regen 3. Against an army withough Cauterize, it's extremely scary, but I don't feel like he's the close assault monster he should be.

OK, let me give some additonal information on what is going on with the Brood list development. There will be several new units, more than foru at any rate. I didn't count them so I can't tell you excatly how many and I'm too lazy to go look. Many of the old units are being revisited and either being powered up or powered down depending on how they synergize with the new units. Some of the Developers and their personal playtest teams are going through the alpha playtest process right now so that when we are finished with our current projects the Brood can be turned over to the Playtest program to see if we can totally break it and fix it again before we send it for layout.

FYI I saw at Heroes and Dragons some Brom cover ccg notebooks so if you do release offical cards we will have someplace to put them.

My cards from the back of the book are laminated so they won't fit. (I tried already!)

T' Quickstart list allows you t' use t' models you already own, or could concievably own when t' forcelist was released. Howler and Broodhounds be not goin' t' be out for quite a while, so they're not part o' t' QS list. Helexa and MJB were inadvertently left out because I thought they were bein' held aft for future release when I did t' list, and as it turns out they went t' market without me noticin'.

So no Howler or Broodhound stats! You'll have t' wait for Evolution!

Any chance we could get the new exodus counters and templates uploaded? I'm trying to get a bunch made in time for gencon. Also, after looking at the counters, there has to be a custom made dark age font that was created for use on these, any chance of letting us have it? :)

And, of course, there's the obligitory asking of the stat cards to be uploaded but I'm not holding my breath on that :)

It seems we neglected to put a "permission to copy" disclaimer on the card, counter & template pages of Genesis.

I've uploaded a document granting permission to reproduce those pages for anybody wanting to go to Kinkos (or your local equivalent).
