If you liked the anime series, your probably not going to like the movie. They picked bits and pieces from the series and tried to make it into a cohesive movie. The one thing I always liked about the anime is that you could let yourself crift and make up your own story about what was going on, because so much of it was undefined, or left to your imagination.

If you had little exposure to the anime, you'll probably like the movie, because you won't have any expectations.

Freya has this great chaingun in the movie that completely reminds me of St. Mary's nailgun. That was really cool.

Thanks for the capsule review. I hadn't any plans for this, my theater time will be for Narnia instead.
