Just as a note, in Japan, Samurai women were all taught to use the Naginata so that they could defend their homes if ever attacked. The various schools of Naginata arts in Japan today as still aimed at women.
With that in mind, your conversion works well in regards to the Japanese history that flavors so much of the Dragyri culture.

Neither do males. Look at Soul Splitters for proof ;)
So my Soul Searcher got a little tiny turtle shell to match her fighting brothers.

That model seems very popular for conversions....... ain't it the same one Grafter used for his female DD????
Nice work anyway, would like to see a Wail converted to use the Double Naginata as well..........

Nice paintjob. Those crystal shards really look cool sticking out. Am army of these figs would look pretty sharp!
Have you thought of making the blade also of crystal or ice?

A lot of people do the crustal weapons and armor for the Dragyri, having a whole "no metal" them to it. I figure they are miners and live in their own tunnels and shafts, they probably have pretty much mastered metallurgy. It's not like they didn't come from a technological civilization...
...of course the argument could be made that samaria is very resource-poor, but I knwo that all those meteor hits had to add a little metal to the geosphere ;)
