Of course all of he anthropological commentary sort of misses the real issue that it was a desert nomad tribe that were the chosen people of God, and everything else is either emulation or otherwise

Very interesting stuff (Demorney is scribbling down notes), will add a few tidbits out of my understanding here to complete the picture (and I try to express myself less scientific as usual for better general understanding) ...
Samaria is in many ways different to the specified regions and our world in general due to its environment. It's hostile and far less pleasant than our planet, with Acid Rain and Hell Storms raging through the landscape, twisting and distorting life forms unable to adapt or protect themselves in some way. But not all regions are the same, we have deserts, wastelands, steppes, swamps, mountains etc.
Morocco comes close, but lacks the pollution and side effects from a damaged ecosystem (a category where Samaria outclasses Earth, well, at least in the moment  ).
Add to this that the known map extents over an area which is (roughly) the size of North America. Take a map of our planet Earth, and take a look how small that big continent is compared to the total and add to this that Samaria is a good portion larger than Earth. Quite impressing how many regions are "white spots", isn't it?
The presented anthropological insights show us how species develop, normally by adapting to their (often changing) environment (indeed, adapting means surviving - just ask the dinosaurs). Normally we look on very slow processes here spanning many years and generations.
The situation on Samaria is a bit different here, as (if abstracting from the Dragyri) we concentrate on merely 500 years of human history, and the starting point of the human civilization is that of a melting pot. This creates many possibilities. Add to this that the civilization isn't building itself from zero but scavenges the ruins of a (at least technologically) higher civilization, I can't resist to dub it "post-apocalyptical".
So I would see the overall situation even a bit more dramatic and describe Samarians humanity as a scavenging merciless civilization fighting each other and everyone else in a world suffering heavily from pollution. That's how I see it. And yet, humans are very adaptive and inventive - so they will spread and develop - the rest you can read in coming publications ;)
Your insights, as always are interesting and generate thought... :D

huh, you wouldn't believe that there are hundreds of pages full packed with information on Samaria and its residents awaiting release, would you ?

Brom does a LOT of fetish art. Fetish leads to B&D. B&D leads to S&M. We're the "S" part of that equation.

Crossdressing is a different fetish in and of it self, especially when practiced by someone with heterosexual inclinations. It is sometimes found in conjunction with B&D or S&M, but can be an entirely stand-alone thing as well.
