I've been trying to get my flat-mate to try Dark Age for quite a while now and promised I would tell how it went. Had a quick 500 point game the other night, he took Dragyri Ice Caste and I took Forsaken St Mark.

Yes, there is that line where you, the player, have to decide whether to follow the fluff and play as the fiction suggests, or to go the route that makes sense from a tactical perspective..and survivability. Get your flat-mate to read some of the fluff to understand his faux paus.

i love a good challenge issued over the forums.. dragyri can be a very tough army to deal with.. especially with the new rules.. get enough slaves and even skaard would have a hard time getting to your trueborn

Och's perspective: Magpie was brutally crushed and chased from the field by the mighty Forsaken.

Magpie's perspective: It seems that this piece of terrain is not as valuable to the Skarrd as we had believed so we have moved our forces to a more tactically significant region.
