Well, I made a promise and the challenge was met. So today I'm showing off some new Firestorms!


leeky brainz, I tell you what. Here's a test for you. If you can find out the sculptor without asking anybody on this board, I'll give another sneak peek before the week's out.

I'm getting all excited about the forsaken all of a sudden. Particularly their firestorms. You dont get much cooler than they do!
But then again skarrd has toxic's

Look quite different to the original pair........... not sure if I like them, but I'm sure Art_de_Vivre will be getting them just to annoy me.

Aren't they wearing too much clothing?

I think we've had that particular discussion before. Now people got a choice between the business firestorm, and the happy camper firestorms. Perfect if you ask me.

And of course the not liking them so much and the too much clothes are totally unrelated? The other two can be painted with clothes anyway you know :P

Yeah, having the option is definately a good thing.

Again I say: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Me likey.



Now I seem to recall that there would be 6 miniatures in the box-set. These 2, plus the first 2, plus the leader gives us 5. Will there be a special edition as well? Or am I chasing my tail as usual?

Will there? Will there? Oooo I'm all excited! The more kick ass ladies with kick ass flamethrowers the better :D

Now that's what I'd imagine Firestorms would look like -- flamethrowers and Nomex.

I like these far more than the originals. Much less like super sluts and more like combat ready soldiers. The faces are also much better sculpts, one of first two looked like her head was on the verge of exploding. Not as crazy looking though, which is a bit of a minus, but all in all better.

This means I want too many boxed sets to still be considered "healthy" at least I'm working like a madman this week... to get more money and more minis!!!

LOL Why would anyone wanna paint DA minis with clothes if they have the option not too??? One of the main reasons I noticed DA way back then........

Well, you don't have to buy the boxsets. Most of the minis, including the leaders will be available in blisters.

Looks like i got it right (pats self on back).Much better than the first 2.Theres only a small hand full of D.A. minis I dont realy like and the origional 2 are some of them.theese 2 are 100x better IMO.

Well, I'm torn. The faces do look much better. But I agree with gunslinger - they look rather . . . squatty

Well, you don't have to buy the boxsets. Most of the minis, including the leaders will be available in blisters.

But youy say "most" and I want them "all" :P

I do like armies with no duplicate models... even if that means lots of chopping and greenstuff... even my space Marine army is designed to avoid duplicate models... plastics did my life easier, but I started the army before the new plastic arrived with all metal marines...

So I want the third sculpts just 'cause I know they exist :P
