Greetings.

Based near Seoul South Korea, and very interested in building the hobby, starting a Korean gaming club, introducing and eventually selling products here, and also working on a nexus with Japanese players/clubs (I speak Japanese).

All of this will take time as nothing much here except the occasional US serviceman in Yongsan, or English teacher with a hobby interest.

Anyone likely to work in, or visit Korea and wanting to pursue the hobby please get in touch. Local cell number: 010 6420 2008.

I'm here long term.

Japan and the rest of Far East Asia is in serious need of outside gaming influence on all fronts! (^_ ^) Anything you can to to bolster the industry is welcome! Hope it rubs off! Let me know if you want some help!

This Yahoo club (http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/JIGG/) is utilized mostly by only a few players in the Tokyo area, but maybe it could help you out, at least for getting into contact with some English speakers in Japan (^_ -)

Cheers,

Are you in the military/on-base or off? I lived in Korea for several years up until 2004, and regularly went up to Yongsan on Saturdays for gaming. There was/is a pretty good sized group of gamers which congregate there and play everything from tabletop minis to CCGs to pen and paper RPGs. There is also a gentleman who stocks and sells gaming supplies of all stripes, and will special order anything alliance carries, and if you can drum up interest in a game, he'll probably carry some in stock of it too. I believe many of those folks also meet off base regularly too for gaming and pro-wrestling.

If you want to me point you in their direction gimme a PM.
