comments welcome.
If anybody remembers my old colorscheme you should know I'm currently repainting all of my Brood.

That looks great. I'll be starting mine soon and I'll probably go for a similar feel. Love the skin, it looks really swampy and evil.
And yes, without a doubt one of the coolest miniatures ever made

Yah...looks nice & gritty. So, how come you left out the leg spikes?

I've never learned how to use washes properly. It's a shame that I now have to experiment on all my brood since I don't own anything else worth trying out new techniques on.
I'm actually in the middle of testing out how fast I can produce reasonable results with my sawblades using inks for shading and blacklining, but so far my progress is best desribed as trial and error, with a tendency of leaning towards error.

stunke have you ever used stains on wood? inking is a process very similar to staining.. too much stain and it looks bad.. etc.. i can help you if you would like

Everything looks excellent except that the black armor is a bit flat. The armor has a lot of detail, so it would be good to at least try and pick out some of the edges. The skin is great though, very gooey looking.
And I agree, this is an extremely impressive mini.
