It would help if you could re-shoot it with a neutral background. I'm having a little trouble differentiating the legs from the background.

She looks good, and the orange works just fine. It makes her look quite wasp-like and dangerous.

I'd agree with Duskland about the background though, my first thought was

Here she is a bit closer and clearer--maybe next time I'll shoot a white background (^. ^;) Thank you for the positive comments (Painting is SO not my thing--I finished painting her and the terrain in 4 hours this morning, reward for finishing my book!)

I think she looks great. If you think the yellow is too strong, you could consider a quick wash of brown to mute it. I would wash it with a mid-brown...not too dark, 8 to 10 parts water to 1 part paint for an even flowing wash.

ronald mcdonald is all yellow and some red.. dedlock here is all black with some ketchup and mustard.. just on the side.. not the whole..

Also, I apologize to awakeneddragon for anally violating his thread. It was just too good n oportunity to pass up. Your deadlock looks great, but I would try to tone down the yellow a bit and add some color variety to the guns.

The mini isn't sealed yet (was going to print up a logo to paste on her, and I was going to tone down the yellow). Ah, good idea for the guns!
