Here is my entry for the MiniPainter's Contest. I posted how I painted it in the topic here. (http://www.minipainters.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=757)
Let me know what you think.

HOT-damn!!!!
Real nice work there, excellent hair highlighting....... looks a little pink (on purpose?), and nice scorched effect on the gun nozzle.......luvving the base as well! Very creative.

Great work! The metalic copper is quite impressive, I've heard it's a bit tricky to get it to work. The hair looks pretty good, but it feels like the ridges stand out a bit too much. It looks a bit like spagetti  (no offense). Hair is quite hard to get right, but there's an article Rackham put out in one of their Cry Havocs that REALLY helps. Basically, treat the hair a bit like NMM but only let the ridges show through when you're transitioning through highlights. It's hard to explain well, maybe when I'm more awake. :|
Now if only the miniature's face wasn't so ugly...

Thanks all. This was a treat to paint and I really like the figure. The hair highlights are really more warm in person. I think it "pinked-out" because of the cool light I shot it under. Shoulda balanced the colors in Pshop.
Hmmm. I may have to try my hand at sculpting a Brom-thing next just to see how it comes out.
