Pimping Dark Age in Denmark is going really well at the moment.
Even more online stores are now selling Dark Age miniatures in Scandinavia, and they have all linked to the quickstart rules now, so people can get busy trying out their new aquisitions on the game table.
Some of the stores didn't even know that a game system was connected to the minies, they just thought they were cool, so a few kind email reminders from certain native fans have now resulted in more links sprouting all over the viking zones of the internet.
People around the country have all bought Dark Age minies to try them out for painting, and everyone has given positive feedback on them. I met a couple at a tournament this summer, and they were all pretty excited. I would have been demo'ing, but the tournament organizers caught wind of it, and asked me (using very strong persuasive arguments) not to do such a thing, since they were only selling GW products at the con, and were not interested in lending gamers ANY of the 50 available tables for some recreative gaming, that would not result in buffing their revenues from the con.
So if only there was some way of getting the rules spread as quickly as the minies, I think that Dark Age would very much be eligible for the title of "that game we play when were fed up with GW and warmachine"
Dark Age is standing stronger than even confrontation at the moment!
Just give me 8 more years I tell you!
Just wanted to share some good news with you all.
