Well here's a little something I've been working on, on and off, for a while, the lady herself:
It's a photo manip of the same random model as the Reaver I did before - though a different pose. I got lazy by the time it got to doing the back ground so just stuck in an altered version of a beautiful screenshot from The Longest Journey, 'cause it just looked so darn nice and I couldn't be bothered. Might do a back ground of my own, but to be honest that one looks great to me, and is pretty much just what I was wanting, so I'll probably just leave it.
I'm really pleased with the fans. Worked out far and away better than I expected and I learned something new to do them. And the hand holding the closed fan wowed me, I didn't think I could pull it off but I think it looks damn good - especially the finger nails.

Oooh. It is gorgeous. Kudos to you!!
Do you have high res versions of these or do work in the resolution you share here?
I have to ask...the basis of the models you work with; their clothing seems photoshopped on...are they originally nudes? You know, just -umm- curious. :twisted:

Yaw dropping - thats so cool!

@Pr0: I work in a higher resolution, so yeah I have a much larger origional, with all layers and effects in tact.
I like to work with nudes if I can help it, it's usually easier *Snicker* and yeah, I almost always photoshop the clothes on. But without resorting to collecting porn (which I have just recently started looking into, for artistic puposes only of course... and even then the poses usually aren't all that unless I'm feeling very Lois Royo), I find it's quite difficult to get hold of good quality pics of nudes without taking them yourself. Which is easier said than done if you're as picky as I am.
This particular lady wasn't nude, but I have a few pics of her in a bikini, so she could be nude in all of half an hour, max, if I felt so inclined, and I wouldn't even have to buy her a drink :wink:
@Aselan: Thanks :)

what a great line, I have to tell my wife that next time she catches me looking at naked chicks :lol:

Sharae; I tell you what. If you're inclined to do your backgrounds in the appropriate ratio, I'd be only too happy to host them here (http://www.dark-age.com/downWallpaper.php) and distribute them as Wallpapers. To date we only have the one made by FreakBrain using alternate art for Harpy.
If so, you should have some kind of small signature to identify them as yours.

@Grafter: Hehe :twisted:
@Pr0: Sure thing, I'd love to :) I'll get on that when I have some free time.

Who's next........... Afro Raze? :shock:
Who'd be the model, a brick wall?
Nice stuff BTW, far exceeds my meager master of photoshop. Just because I'm picky though, her thumb looks a bit tiny, but the only real flaw I can see is that the cloth that wraps around the back of her neck does not reach all the way up her neck. Kinda looks like it's digging into her flesh. That's my only crit, the rest is just awesome.

Thanks for the compliments, guys.
And actaully I've been working on a couple of other pics as well as this one... :twisted:
But yeah, don't know where I'd start with with someone like Raze... Plus, though I do like a challenge, I much prefer working on female DA characters, for now 8)
@Vax: With the angle and the cut of that particular kind of collar, that's how it goes, but I can see why it might not look right. I might give the thumb some thought though...

The finished piece:
Pr0 has it, with the DA logo and in all the right sizes, for putting up in the downloads section whenever he gets around to it :tongue3:

Urge to play Dragyri .. rising...

It's in the queue, Sharae.
...oh...and on my other computer...so it's a matter of time. <sigh>

It is now a background on my computer and an inspiration to get my Air Caiste stuff done :o

Really nice, great Photoshop.

This is simply exquiste. You've really capatured a feel for her that I haven't quite gotten from the mini. There's that (forgive the pun) air of mystery and quite strength associated with the power of wind. Very nice indeed.
The fans have a wonderful luminescen that suggest the nature of the crystals. I look forward to seeing more Dragyri Whispers and Cyclones.

Re-did the background so it's all my own work now, happier with it that way, even though it's a bit more simple... and fixed something that was annoying me about the fan.
