the only relevant thing i can think to say is that gf performed a post modern dance with her troop called pulse about a month ago.......
...so if that's what you're talking about, then yes, i have seen it.

ummmmmmmmmm no. Something a little more like this

--> http://www.apple.com/trailers/weinstein/pulse/

It seems to be a lot like White Noise but well its got a guy being eaten by a wall. I haven't seen something like that since the Nightmare on Elmstreet movies of the 1980's. The nostaliga alone should be worth the price of admission. (I hope)

Horror movie writer are really running out of ideas. Haven't seen a movie in ages myself though. Maybe I'll head out next week, but I'm gonna check the reviews before I see it.

I'll let you know how it is. Gonna check it out today. Though I'm with you on the whole horror movie writers running out of ideas thing. SO help me I see one more movie where the hero and villain turn out to be the same person or its all just in their imagination I'm gonna lose it.

I miss the Jason's, Freddy, Mike Myer's, Pinheads, Dog Soldiers, Aliens campy 80 style of doing things. They didn't take themselves too seriously and endsd up with great movies.

I mean if I can figure this out you would think that Hollywood would.

hollywood's problem is they hire people who go to college to tell thm what the people want to see and how it should be made, when who they really should hire is those dudes who sit in their basement and watch horror movies all the time. Letely it's all been gore and bloodshed, while entertaining, there's really no story there, just a *STICK* BLOOD FLIES EVERYEWHERE!!! I need to gwet me some psychological horror in.

If you're after psychological horror, I recomend renting Jacob's Ladder. It's an excellent movie and quite disturbing.

I'm guessing icky means unscary and filled with more blood than plot. Kinda saw it coming.

Glad Will Ferrel (sp?) still has it in him. The movie concept seemed pretty solid especially for his acting style.

Now you tell me, what is it with Japanese horror, it's all the same. I thought I was watching the Ring revised. At least Sam Raimi could have put Bruce Campbell in it. He woulda got an axe and finished it. I was so waiting for Buffy to Judo slap that anoying spook into the netherworld.

Not to rack on Japan, but there's a reason Japanese cinema is known for martial arts films, anime, and little else. Can't say much of America's recent horror flicks either though. :roll:

Battle Royal I was pretty good, but Battle Royal II was crap. The manga is better than either, it has boobs. :)

Ah yes, Battle Royal. If you liked the manga (Japanese Graphic Novel) then you might want to check out Gantz. It's rediculously gory and kinda pushes the wierdness factor over the top, but it's strangely addictive. Unfortunately, the team is on break until season 2 this November.
