Hi, there.

I got back from GenCon this weekend, where I discovered Dark Age. I always find something cool at the con, but this time was really awesome. I spent way too much money in the booth, but I'm really excited about the game. I don't actually know anyone in St. Louis who plays, so I'll have to try and do some converting.

Anyway, I just wanted to put my toe in the forum waters and thank all of the cool people from GenCon for a really fun time. I played a 4-person game on Friday night while a huge mega-battle raged nearby. All of the players and referees were swell folks. Thanks.

Yo!

Welcome to the game and the boards.
Keep your hands inside the cart, no flash photography, and don't feed the brood... ever!

If you want to know about puds and pud throwers, ask Shinobi, if you want to know anything else, ask me

...except Howlers. Stunke knows nothing about Howlers, but would desperately like to.

Welcome, Andrew! Glad you had at good time at GenCon. Now you have to take your shiny new minis and show them to all your friends. Those ones who have secretly been looking for the NBT (Next Big Thing) in miniature gaming and get the Dark Age bandwagon rolling in your area.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have a question. Is there anywhere online to download the unit cards? I'm having a hard time getting the photocopier to do a good job with them. Thanks.

There's currently a discussion going on releasing card packs. If you saw the cards that we had at Gencon the current thought is to go with something about that size to increase readability. If this doesn't happen though I'm sure there will be some sort of online release.

I had heard about the plan to possibly to the card packs when I was there and heard a discussion about card size. I know at our local store alot of the folks want bigger cards for Warmachine and Hordes, so maybe bigger is better. And Andrew I was one of the guys at the 4 way battle with the streaming flame template. I wanted to add that in all the games I played that day all player's were of the highest caliber. I had loads of fun and laughed alot thanks guys for making it really enjoyable.

Warmachine cards are bad for me because they try to cram more and more info on them thus using smaller print

Welcome St. Andrew! I'm glad you liked the game and the people who play it. DA has sorta lucked out so far with their player base, or at least I think so.

Cheeky git!!

Welcome St. Andrew, to the madhouse and occasional spam session regarding Ice Hockey, female anatomy, jet-powered-Howlers-on-skateboards, and pretty much anything else.

Keep your hands away from Punky and Stunke and you'll be fine!
