Still sort of a WIP, 'cause I might work on it some more. It's not perfect but I'm quite happy with it.

Is it just me, or do the wings look a little odd to anyone else? I can see that one's off to the side and ones more swept back, but the perspective is a little odd on the right one.
Anyways, great pic!
Aw! She looks sad. Poor little cute Harpy needs a hug. :D

That wing needs work, the main mechinism thingy is too big, and doesn't look as good as the one on the left wing... and the second rod is two sknny... I'll fix that durring my next coffee/Slayer/Photoshop binge :P

Hehe. You should have seen her before, I had her looking totally insane, looked too OTT though so had to tone it down. I like how she looks sort of sad now, but in a vacant, still insane, way.

How does she look with no pupils?
Spending all that time out in the sun has to do things to her eyes.

Not meaning any offense, but this one doesn't do much for me. The perspective on the left (our right) wing seams pretty off, and her, er, crotchstrap looks to have some perspective issues as well. Still, the metal bits have great texture and the design of the wings is spot on.

Now that you mention it, the crotch strap is a little fuzzy. Not that I was looking at the crotch before .. I mean .. err ....

*Chuckles*
Well, given the perspective her stomach either goes in or out, the perspectitive would make more sense with her belly out, but I doubt that would look very attractive, but in looks strange because you can't see where the strap goes. My own fault for picking that pose *Tuts* But it's probably tweakable...
That right wing is pretty crap now I'm looking at it with a clear head...

This is a great one with a lot of potential!!! The wings and claws may need a little work but this could possibly be my fave of the ones you've done so far Sharae!!! Keep it up!

It's still a work in progress, so we'll see where it goes.
I'm very happy with the metal work on the left wing - you should have seen the first attempt... Yuck. The right wing is sort of left over from that, which explains why it's all wonky, I was still trying to figure out the perspective, which is bloody hard on a completely made up object (the wings are not photomanip, they're totally from scratch).

You don't know the half of it, ty being a Design major
My suggestion for fixing it is to angle the cylindrical part away a bit more. and extent the bottm spine a bit more. The top spine should also be lower elevation than the one on the right wing unless the wing itself is raised up a bit (which judging by the cylindrical thingy it isn't). Here's a quick drawing:

Idealy the perspective lines (in red) would meet at a vanishing point on the horizon. I also turned the cylinder slightly. Remember, vanishing points are useful for more than squares, they can help map out the basic restrictions on an object's dementions.

Thanks for that, Vax, but I sort of gave up on trying any perspective stuff and went for just having both wings facing on, exept the wing struts on the right wing are in...

That's about all I can be bothered to do with it for now. Still not perfect, but looks a lot better now, I think.
