Under Rallying Troops
paraphrased- when an individual with a higher (note not = to) PS within 10cm of a unit with a Panic/Fear marker can spend an AP to allow the unit to make an immediate test....
It states that the unit with the marker is allowed "to immediately re-take the test using the PS of the Rallying Unit.
Is the Rallying Unit the individual unit causing the marked unit to test, or is the Rallying Unit the unit that has the Panic/Fear marker on them?
I see it both ways the way it is written.
also- the word re-take is not really correct, as this can be used before a Squad or Individual unit has actually had to take the test at all- as seen in the example below it- but this doesn't take away from the rule I don't think.

Red is the correct version.
The blue phrasing I don't understand.
Re-take is meant in the sense that even if the Squad took the test at the beginning of its activation and failed, the presence of the individual would allow them to test and thereby remove the marker before the beginning of their next activation.

I think I get what you are saying.....tell me if I'm off.....

The Panic check test will happen if the unit has the panic counter. Rallying allows you to do one of two things:
Take the test right then and their, so you can avoid the effects of panic.
Or
Re-take the test if they have already failed their test.
Example:
So say your group of Buzzblades has a panic counter. Your Chitin can spend an AP to rally them, if successful, they remove the panic counter. If not successful, the Buzzblades still have a panic counter, and when they are activated, resolve the panic as usual.
Or
Buzzblades have a panic counter, they fail their test. They run around the board, the Chitin can spend an AP to rally them.
also- the word re-take is not really correct, as this can be used before a Squad or Individual unit has actually had to take the test at all- as seen in the example below it- but this doesn't take away from the rule I don't think.

Thanks again Mr.Sota- but my real question the way it is written is whose PS do you use when an individual is using an AP to rally another.
The individuals who is spending the AP or the panic counter unit?
Stunke says individual who is spending AP.

Stunke is correct (Genesis Pg. 40)
allow that Squad or Individual to immediately
re-take the test using the Psyche (PS) of the Rallying Unit.
It's the squad or individual who is doing the Rally.
Example:
So say your group of Buzzblades has a panic counter. Your Chitin can spend an AP to rally them, if successful, they remove the panic counter. If not successful, the Buzzblades still have a panic counter, and when they are activated, resolve the panic as usual.
So in this example, the Buzzblades use the Chitin's PS to make the check.
Or
If a Grafter was rallying a Kaustic, the Kaustic would use the Grafters PS.

Thanks again-
I was just confused as "Rallying Unit" could mean the unit trying to rally or the unit forcing the rally attempt.
