I have not gotten a new game since the release. What would be a good pick?

Star Wars Lego II, great game to play with your kids. Don't know if it's available for 360 though. One game that makes me want to own a 360 is the trapped in a mall with zombies game, name escapes me, but I'm a sucker for zombie movies.

Saint's Row, once you get past the ridiculous white boy gangta window dressing, is a hell of a lot of fun. I have played it compulsively for a few weeks down. It actually makes some great improvements on the GTA urban sandbox model, with excellent vehicle control and gun targeting. Also, tons of activities to wheedle the hours away with, like collecting rare cars for the chopshop, tracking down people on the streets to kill with specific weaponry (handgrenades for the hotdogsuit man) and exploiting ragdoll physics for insurance fraud. That tops my list of recommendations, but there are more:

1. Saint's Row
2. Oblivion (if you like in-depth RPGs)
3. Chromehounds (if you like playing mech games online)
4. Dead Rising (a good rental if you're not the hardcore completists type who will spend four hours killing zombies at a chokepoint to get an achievement, those folks can buy it)
5. The Outfit (WWII comcbook action-sendup, best played online)

And of course, Gears of War and Mass Effect, the reasons I bought an Xbox 360, will be out in November 2006 and sometime in 2007 respectively. Salivation-worthy.

One of my friends down here in SoCal has a 360, and I get together with him and some other friends to play it every weekend or so. So far, Call of Duty 2 has been our pick for multiplayer, and I've heard the single aint bad either. (We even play it more than Halo 2  )

An upcoming release to look forward to is Phantasy Star Universe. It's both a full offline RPG and an MMO, and judging by the previous games in the series it aint gonna be too shaby. In Japan they had to double the number of servers they had the week after it came out because of the rediculous number of people who bought it. Only downside is that the intro music kinda sucks, the lyrics literally make me gag.

Also, F.E.A.R. should be coming out soon on the 360, and it rox my sox. If you've seen the trailers, then you probably know what I mean.

F.E.A.R. is on 360? thats cool I had fun with the game on PC

Chromehounds and Dead rising are cool
Phantasy Star for 360 counds awesome
Ill throw in as well Fight Night round 3
It is quite an awesome game when you turn off the displays so its just you and your opponent facing off against each other
plus I loved the control scheme (you swing punches with the right analog stick)

Right now the only titles I own and can recommend are:
Oblivion
DoA4
N3 (Ninety-Nine-Nights)
Dead Rising
Prey (which isnt very good but it is a so-so shooter)
And Call of Duty 2
Lego Star Wars 2

I hate GTA so I would say steer clear of Saints Row. If you like GTA though, you might want it. The outfit is lame at first but its simple form of action kinda grows on you.

Wait till October and november. Then we get some NICE titles.

Hey...we need a computer game!

For RTS, maybe : "Total War: Samaria"

For 1st-person adventure: "The Gospel of Saint Mark"

Or can you envision an MMORPG?! :"The Dark Age of Samaria"

Hehe Age of Conan is breaking the T rating barrier for MMO's with an M rating. Who's to say a DA game couldnt take that a step further?

AFAIK, there were plans to do compy games with Brom art, Brom showed me some skins, but I guess those projects never came to life...

Age of Conan isn't a true MMO from what I understand, sadly: A single-player RPG with online PVP-oriented content. =( No MMO community or economy.

I've read differently on that one. The single player RPG is a 15 or so hour campaign leading up to the MMO. A long tutorial or something. Even so, break down MMORPG. Got the Massive and the Multiplayer and the Online Role Playing Game. True MMO, definitely. Traditional, probably not. It's not like Diablo in any case.

One day when I was bored I started working out how a DA MMORPG would work. It could be damn cool. Not, however, as cool as Total War: Samaria which would kick more ass than I could seriously contemplate in one sitting. Yeah, I

Just to chime in...

Chromehounds is pretty sweet if you are down with a total online game...

Oblivion is awesome as well...though I struggle getting anywhere as my attenion span is so short that I never make it out of the cities...

I will have to look into some of the other mentioned games...

Chromehounds goes from awesome to frusterating and back to awesome again based on how good you are and how much money you can put into your hound.

No, first person track and field, as in running away form the battle. Let's see how fast St. Chicken can outrun that band of pissed off Trueborns. :P

Yes I still rag on our favorite cowardly corruptor of little girls, but I've been doing it from the start! Until Mark redeems himself or goes out with a bang he'll always be St. Chicken.

Now on the subject of 360 games, Im not sure if they are out yet, but the "Hard Boiled/Better Tomorrow" game with da' Fat is due out as with the next Resident Evil. Both are looking pretty damn cool. As is Final Fantasy 12.

Though they aren't 360 specific, I would highly recomend "The Godfather" (what GTA should have been!), "Black", and "Call of Cthulhu".
