Yes..this is the day we are thankful for the existence of fat, flightless, fugly birds that taste real good and make you want to take a nap after you pig out on them.

call me ignorant, i won't care if you do.. but what does Canada have thanksgiving for? who did they gain independance from? just curious as i never bothered to study Canadian history.. all I can think of is Canadians left the French behind and then I remember French Canadians and the blows my theory out of the water..

Um. Thanksgiving is a thank the Lord for the Harvest and us not dying in this colony thing NOT an indapendence thing. The 4th of July is our freedom fromtyrany day. We it was until it was replaced by May 5th. :D
