I just watched the dvd episode of Farscape called Bone To Be Wild, in the first season. There is an alien named M'lee who looks astonishingly influenced by Brom's rendering of Helexa. Anyone recall that costume?

Yeah it does. They'd nned to get on eof the olson twins to be able to put on tha suit and still be skinny enough for Helexa though. BTW, you can get the url directly by quoting Wayne's post.

Ha! NO Its NOT Helexa! But the physical elements of Helexa are there. Its like the costume designers had that Brom picture in mind when designing it. I could not help but notice it when watching that episode. Everything from the skin patterns and colors, the spikey back of the head, the back spinal fin, etc. Unfortunately the costume I think turned out rather cheesey, and even its "scary" incarnation mode wasnt all that frightening. (its a bone-eater that lures prey with cunning innocence, and then goes all wild looking when attacking). So...no..its not as cool as our Helexa.

It does look a lot like her - though I was thinking if they thinking if they ever came up with a live action Brood it would be closer to Aliens and less Jim Henson. So does Brom get paid, roalities or rights or some kind of compensations for trademark violation on this?
