really odd, we've seen no snow this winter, the tullips are coming out, insects buzzing around - this is a strange winter ....

Well, it was one of six or seven and it was some 30 metres from my house (yep, large garden). Funny thing was, it was broken at a heigth of 3 metres and the upper half was blown right into the branches of our oak (by far the largest tree in the area, it even dwarves our house). The oak held the broken tree firmly until the chain saw appeared. :D

According to weather.com you are only suppost to be at 70 degrees today or 39 for thoose that do centigrade.
