I just got my Zuzzy terrain mats. I am terribly impressed! They are fantastic! I just need to start painting them. I bought both 4'x6' mats.

Argh. I'm so jealous. I'm waiting till I get back from GenCon though. I'd hate for them to sit on my front porch, waiting to be stolen by any passerby.
So...what are you plans for them, Wayne? Going to use them as portable roll-up terrain or mount them on something?
Pr0 I wouldn't doubt it if there was at least one vendor or these guys selling this stuff at GenCon....

Im going to use them as roll-up.
As for painting them, me and Shane have been discussing options. My idea is to use the 'burnt forest' floor as a swampland instead, and the 'sulfer wastes' as a rocky snow-patched wasteland. Yea, it seems counter to what they were intended for, but trust me you can be flexible with these mats.
Whats holding me back is that now I find that Zuzzy is planning a swamp and a highlands mats. I would like to see these before committing the paintscheme.

They look great, but it's just not realistic to order them from the UK. $50 for mat + $50 for postage and then another $50 or more worth of customs charges and that's when you've waited for them to tell you they've impounded them and you've found which depot they've hidden them in. 6 weeks later. Not that I've had them do this to me repeatedly or anything.
I hate Customs.

Quirkworthy...I hear ya!! I have the very same problem ordering from the US and we're on the same damn continent. I blame it on Canada Customs, I think they're all gamers and just keep my stuff.
But I will be ordering a few of these mats regardless....soon as they make the 4x4 versions.

If I could get them at the proper price I'd have bought some already. Just can't justify them at the price I'll really end up paying. Lovely as they look...

Im very tempted...If I get 2 4x6 mats shipping is reasonable, and if I can get a few other people to maybe grab one it will be free.
