1 Scion w/Toxic vapor or Venom spray
6 Broodlings (They protect the Scion)
2 Pudthrowers (who doesn't love puds? Their cute, cuddly, and eat human babies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. )
2 Brood Hounds
5 Ratchets
I'm not sure which bio gen to take :? Toxic spray is great but venom spray helps keep my Scion well rounded (after all she can't win every CC battle and swarms of units will take her down) I like templates and had exactly 15 points left.
The broodling stay in front of the Scion and my Puds take out template weapons like firestorms (I love flamers). The Hounds are the broods best friends and make Cujo look like a docile cat. Oh, and Ratchets are just well priced for their power. 8)

The list is rock solid, imo.
Toxic Vapor is the cliche combo for an Agressive Scion -- Its quite ruthless against CA heavy armies. Walk out in the open and say "Please, charge me" If they do, she swats them, if they don't she swats them
That said, it appears from your notes that you are using Scion more conservitivly. NOT a single thing wrong with that, either (saving her for the end game is particularly ruthless, as the enemy often has far less capible of dealing with her properly by this point -- you hope).
But at that point something more aggressive at range is useful. The sprays are great, sure. But they have some serious limitations your enemies can exploit. You have to be close to use it, and it take a wide swath. Following Target Priority can allow your opponent to turn this weapon against you by ensuring any SP templates overlap yourown troops as well. Generally, you only get one or two good shots with a spray per game -- its stuper useful that one or two times, but otherwise it sits dorment.
Here's a few random ideas:
1) Keep it as is with Toxic Vapor and have fun. You may find you need to be a bit more aggressive with Scion to get the full impact of the Vapor. Walk her into the scrum and hvae the broodlings back her up killing anything she cannot and screening her from RA. Finally, you might consider swaping out a Ratchet for a Broodhound in this list. It will make those Hounds far more effective as a harassing force.
2) Have you looked at Goo? Dropping a BL 6 Indirect template that slows down your enemies and makes them less effective serves a similar role to Toxic Vapor (lessening enemy effectiveness), except it works at range, and allows you to control the board a bit more. The double bonus is that your puds and broodlings move through the Goo without penalty, increasing their effectiveness nicely.

Thanks for the ideas. I was thinking that trading one Ratchet for a Broodhound would be a smart idea.
I was also think of how effective goo might be to slow down the trueborn.
The Ratchets seem like slightly beefed up Banes which is a good thing. If I face lots of cheap units like spear slaves I'll take goo or Venom spray. Otherwise, I think I'll just stick with Toxic Vapor.
Definately switch out a ratchet for a brood hound if you are fighting shooty armies.
