#1. This question is regarding terms in the text
Hang In There Boys!
-specifies "-Units form the same Force-"
Just a Flesh Wound
-specifies "A friendly Unit-"
This Will Make It All Better
-specifies "A friendly Unit-"
Numb
-specifies "A friendly Unit-"
Are These saying the same thing? Is one more correct?
#2 This Will Make It All Better - Does the text imply that each unit can have Poison Counters removed once AND Numb Counters removed once per game or just one or the other once?
Here is the full text from the 4th Printing of Evolution for easy reference.
"THIS WILL MAKE IT ALL BETTER
Units with this Ability may spend 1 AP when in base to base contact with a Unit to remove all Poison or Numb counters. The 1 AP spent may not be the free AP gained for Charging. You will remove all counters of the same type for each 1 AP spent. A friendly unit may only be affected by this Ability once per game."
My copy had the last sentence repeated twice for emphasis  or maybe just a typo  As my friends and I said...we get the point, but what does it mean!?
thanks in advance for responding.

Hang in there Boys - This is only protection for Units of the same Force. I.e. Units controlled by the same player, of the same type (Forsaken). This is the extra special ability to not only stay on the table when Dying, but potentially stay on the table indefinately. Only comrades intimate with the Medic would be so inspired to hold on, becuase they know the medic is comming. A warrior aligned with the Field Medic's forces, temporarily, does not have the same trust and reliance in the Medic to receive this benefit.
The other abilities (Just a Flesh Wound, This will Make it All better, and Numb) are active actions by the Healing Unit and can be used on any Friendly Unit (I.e. if playing team games, etc,.).
And, This Will Make it all Better can only be used to remove counters once per game per target.

So...assuming my Field Medic had 2 AP, she could remove Poison and Numb counters from one Unit in the same Activation?(using this will make it all better and meeting all other criteria)
And in the odd scenario where a forsaken force is allied to the Skarrd, Dragyri or Brood, Numb, Just a Flesh Wound and This Will Make It All Better can be used to the advantage of these traditional enemies?

I would have to say that this would not work. If a reason is needed, the chemicals, etc used are not compatible with the blood of the dragyri, brood or the skarrd. In fact you could probably say the skarrd are flat out immune due to their exposure to chemicals over time.

So it would be most accurrate to consider these abilities applicable to "friendly Forsaken Units"?

I would say yes. as in most cases friendly units would be (just forsaken units) what units you chose in your forsaken army. I am not the final say on this, but that would be how I see it.

I agree with your interpretation as it seems the most logical intent, I just want to have the insight of those more familiar with the system and concepts. Thanks.
Any personal thoughts on my other query regarding "This Will Make It All Better"?

I think Gayln pretty much summed it up pretty clearly in his response. or am I missing something? 9(it's possible I am missing your query as I have been overworked this week (month))

This is the follow up to my initial question...

hmm, let me think on that one. I don't think a combo of effects works quite like the situation you are bringing forward.

I think the likely-hood of a circumstance like I described would be rare, however I wanted to clearly understand the text.
I originally assumed you could choose one or the other, but another player insisted the text said otherwise, on careful reading, as written, I could not refute him, but still believe the intent of one use only and the text "you will remove all counters of the same type for each 1 AP spent." is in fact superflous text from an earlier version of the rules.
