If a Unit in a Berserk state is reduced to 0 AP at the start of the Lingering Effects Stage, through a combination of Overexertion and another effect (such as Stun or Paralyzing Poison carrying over from the previous Game Turn), does the Unit still test for Overexertion?

as far as I remember you test for everything. even if you have 5 or 6 lingering affects.

I should have been more clear.
Does the Berserk Unit end the Berserk state automatically if they start the Lingering Effects Stage at 0 AP as described above or would they test again and possibly stay in the Berserk state even though they are at 0 AP?
As long as a Unit is in the Beserk state, yes, it does have to test every Lingering Effects Phase for Over-Exertion. If you do not have any AP to spend you cannot activate the unit but the Beserk state ends. Remember a Stat can never fall below Zero, if a Beserk Unit was affected by a Loss of Ap attack and Suffered the 0 AP penalty due to Over-Exertion then the Lost AP carries over until the Unit's next activation.

Thanks again for the clear answer. Reinforces the carry over text for Stun and PP as well as Berserk and Overexertion!
One last thing, when a Unit "collapses" from Overexertion is it marked as Prone?
Bad enough they lose their activation, so no they don't go Prone, just lethargic
