Is it legal to move a model into base to base, and before doing so, rotate the charging model so that it's rear arc bases the target model?

As an example, the Drag. Ice Elemental has a tail attack.

Is it ok to rotate the rear arc of the elemental so it gets the charge bonus with it's tail attack(s)?

If that's not ok, how about this scenario: Ice Elemental moves slight passed target model, then moves sideway so it's rear arc is touching the target model for the charge attack with the tail attack?

I've been playing the heck out of this game recently to get the rules down for the playtests with various people, and I know I'm going to have more rules questions, so please don't hold it against me as my first game was last week! I'm enjoying the game too much to so far to be picked on. :)

o Unlimited Turning is allowed while spending AP on movement and

Moving Units may turn freely as long as the total linear movement does not exceed their MV.

Facing while moving is pretty much free to you.
Its once you are engaged, or in the middle of some other action (such as Assaults) that turning is limited.

FYI: This is valid to use the second attack group of the Ice Elemental (Spike Tail with "Rear Attack" ability). However, the somewhat more 'sexy' Attack Group 3 (Tail Swipe, with "Tail Arc Attack" ability) does not need to have the enemies in their rear arc...

[quote](For other Arc Attacks it may be different, such as Tail Arc Attacks where the arc is from the exact rear point of the Unit to the exact front of the unit through the side of the attacker
