Foci Question

Okay ive read the quickstart rules about 15 times and im still really confused. How exactly to you determine the TN for foci. I understand that if there is no number in parenthatsis(spelled way wrong) you just roll under you PS, but what if there is one ex. PS(5). Do you subtract that number from your PS or do you have to roll under that. Thanks in advance.

The Number in () is subtracted from the PS. If it is a ranged foci, distance and cover can also subtract, just like making an RA.
