Dragyri Frostbite

I was hoping I could get some advice from the community. I'm having trouble using the Dragyri Frostbite to his maximum potential. He never seems to get to combat and usually dies on the way. Mostly I have trouble using him against Skarrd since my regular opponent will come up and Bone Wrack him and then move away or finish him next turn with Cataclysmic Aneurysm. Does anyone have any ideas or wisdom to share on this topic?

The best than can be offered is using slaves as a screen. Within 10" they become the Target Priority so they will have to be targeted, out side the Target Priority range they will give your Frostbite Cover. Shard Slaves will be useful to Infiltrate near Tribal Fathers/Bone Docs to be kamikazees or lay down shard fields to herd the casters away from your more vulnerable beat sticks. Lastly the Soul Splitter range is greater than that of of the Psychogenics so use those guys to hunt casters.
