New UK player.

Hi all
Im a new player in the southwest of the UK.
I have just picked up a starter pack of Outcasts, Brood (with the LE helexra, the mini that got me interested in the game!!) forsaken and the two rulebooks.

I have also started work on a small 2x2 demo table, as i hope/plan to be doing a few demos of this game locally.
Just wanted to put my head in hear and say hello, and see if anyone had any advice; or knew of groups in the uk still playing?

Play and compare Red Hot and Gazelle. The first few games I played with Red Hot, I found that she disappointed me. I may have been playing her wrong or may not have had the right army build. One thing I can say is that both versions are fast. Also, do not underestimate the Rachets. One game I spent trying to avoid contact with some Banes to complete my objectives. When they finally caught up, the Rachets made short work of them. Good luck and Welcome!

Well 2 demos down, just using startere boxes and basic rules. Feed back was very positive, hopefully my gaming group will take this game on, we have been looking for a replacemnt for the defunct Confrontation 3.5.
I did demos on a small 2foot square board, with two players and myself explaining/GMing.
The best thing was that after 10 mins or so two of the spectators started asking me questions, taking my focus away from the game.. I looked back to see the players were already playing the game without my instruction! To say i was amazed that they had picked up the basics so fast and were confident enough to just play is an understatement. I pointed this out to the group and that fact alone made a really good impression for the game.

just ordered a couple of box sets, this game has intrested me since i saw it on beasts of war a while ago.

Plan to start playing up in liverpool if anyone else plays around that area
