• Blood and Ice Do Mix! Dark Age Games February Releases

Well Punxsutawney Phil declared six more weeks of winter so who are we to argue with him! We are proud to release a new and long awaited addition to the Ice Caste, the Hail kin! We didn't want to just release them we also threw a little blood into the mix just in time to motivate you for our Blood Bath! Painting comp, the Blood Cult Puppets! Who says Blood and Ice don't mix?

    DAG2112 - Dragryi - Hail Kin (3) - $19.99

Created using the powerful Focus of the Ice Caste Dragyri, Hail Kin are the elemental minions of the Soul Wardens. Originally crafted through the curiosity of one of the Ice Caste’s leading minds, these ensorcelled shards of elemental ice are a unique cog within the Dragyri war machine. Once Luck’kit-kaii learned about his Soul Wardens’ new children, he gave his blessings to their use and the teaching on how to create more of them. Hail Kin are as large as a man but made of solid ice and held together through energies beyond human comprehension – just another sign of the evolved state of the Dragyri people.
Steady sliding across the battlefield like the approach of tiny glaciers, Hail Kin are as eerily beautiful as they are deadly. Whether it is hurling savagely sharpened spikes made from their own body mass or being physically manipulated to rain icy death through the magics of the Soul Warden, the lesser Ice Caste elementals are a major threat to the Dragyri’s foes.

Hail Kin are elemental units able to be part of an Ice Caste forcelist, bringing a mystic tactical advantage that clever Dragyri players will put to devastating use.

And we didn't forget that we promised a little Blood right, well relatively speaking:

    DAG3306 - Skarrd - Blood Puppets (2) - $14.99

Within the Skarrd tribes the weak or infirmed often are used for food when their otherwise utility wears thin, but the tenets of Father Mayhem and his Blood Cult say differently. Spared the butcher’s cleaver in favor for a far more sinister fate, Blood Cult Puppets are vile, mutilated flagellants serving the cult in the last way they are capable – as a crop of pain, flesh and of course…blood.

Little more than a herded flock led by their Keepsake shepherds, Puppets are horrific monsters made from what were once men. They are wrapped in grafted torture devices designed to prolong life, continually opening wounds, and immerse the Puppet in pain that should cripple the healthiest of humans. Instead, they willingly use these and simple blades to fill their lives with unending suffering until they are called upon to make the final and ultimate sacrifice. They may be able to batter an unfortunate foe to death with their sharp implement-laden limbs, but their true purpose on a battlefield is as nothing more than flesh. Whether offered as a living shield to protect their superiors or as fuel for their Blood Rituals, every Puppet’s death can serve a purpose.

Puppets are a supporting unit for use in Blood Cult forcelists, bringing just the right amount of terrifying sacrifice to the Skarrd’s insidious tribes.

We don't like to show unpainted minis as part of our releases. Once we get the minis painted (our studio painter is brushing like a madman) we will post them. We didn't want to hold back the Feb releases, March is right around the corner!

LOVE the Hail kin! I would guess a wash would be more than enough on the clear resin?

So the metal ones flow down into the base and the resin ones don't?
