Tim's 1-A-Week Painting, Taco Challenge! (Warning! Silly)

We have a new Challenge, the first of the year. It all spurred from this Facebook post:

Which immediately triggered the obvious question
So... do the winners of said challenge get tacos?
    and answered...

    The 2015 Taco Prize
    Painting Contest!

disclaimer:no actual tacos are being awarded in this contest, see restrictions where applied

    What to do?

Paint 1 Dark Age figure a week for all 52 weeks of the year. Don't worry if you get behind/ahead or whatever. Just do your best to keep up and get 52 in for the year.

    How to play?

Post the results of your painted Dark Age figures as they come in. It's more fun if you also include some kind of wacky progress bar of some sort. Here's mine:

    What can I win?

It is hypothetically possible that completing the contest may have a positive correlation to a high-than-average Taco consumption rate within the contest year...

    Seriously?

Yes. Seriously. Would I joke about something like this?

I need a good kick in the butt to get me to paint. Also, I like tacos.

    Challenged accepted.

First month is done, 4 models painted for the first 4 weeks of the year.

Here's a quick snapshot of mine, 2 Plights, a Bloat and an Alpha Pud.

I'm a bit behind for the 1/week schedule, but I think I should be able to catch up with some squadlinked painting.

First up is a finished Buzzblade. He was a test for a Skaard paint scheme and I think I like it better than a previous scheme (as seen on the Father behind him). I've got his two Buzzblade budies to finish and should have the majority of the Forsaken box (2 Coils and 1 Warwind) ready for next week (as I need them painted for a demo).

I've also attached my progress. I am presently 2% Taco (the image shall reveal a delicious, delicious taco as I progress).

    Painting progress for February:

On the top shelf, you'll see a Skarrd battlebox (3x Bolas, 3x Buzzblades, 1x Father) and a Kaustic.

Additionally, here's a Grafter and 2x Drillheads for a Followers of the Heretic list.

That puts me at 11/52, or 21% Taco.

Hoping to have another 13 models done for Adepticon... Fingers crossed.
