    Strike convertion (wip)

    this is my first ever atempt at converting a DA mini







    i replaced the head with bits from the L5R games
    & repositioned the left arm to make it look like he's blocking/parying
    with his spiked gauntlet

    but it still need a little work

    comments ??

    Looks like a Karate stance, but with less bent legs and a higher body position.....

    That is a HUUUUUUUGE sword on the back!!!! No-Dachi???

    Looking really good, and looking forward to seeing the painted finish

    Now that's a 2 handed sword.....

    Very nice conversion with very good choices for the swaps. It represents some kind of regional variant of a troop type well, with makes sense in a post-apocalyptic setting.

    Well, that is an interesting head-swap. And I love the sword.

    ...but I'm curious as to why you ground down the lip on the base? At least it looks as though it's been ground flat.

    minis feet are sometime positioned in a way that they go over the "ridge"
    & i dont like the look of that so i sandpaper all my DA & WM base like that

    Thats no excuse!!! Everyone here has mountains of unpainted lead (and plastic)

    i was from the L5R clan war line of minis , it came with a clan crab samurai woman weilding a 2h hammer
