    Scenarios

Im just wondering if there will be good support with scenarios and campaigns. Rulesets, army lists and models are of course vital, but it cant be overstressed the importance of scenarios and campaigns. I understand that Harbinger will carry some, but will there be more material published in Dark-Age books? Online downloadable files would be excellent too.

The Harbinger stuff is going to carry us for a while. All of our resources are currently getting pumped into the new force books and filling out the mini lines for the forces as they come out. There are some plans to have more expansion material late this year or early next year.

Trust me, it's going to rock!
Hell yeah! Full speed ahead, damn anything that gets in the way! It's good to be back!

I'm sure member-submitted scenarios and campaign ideas can be posted here and would be well recieved

I wholeheartedly understand your concern and we are 100% going to address the issue of scenarios. In fact, after we catch up with the next couple of force books, we will make scenarios THE backbone of Dark Age. A lot have been discussed, just a matter of taking care of current business and then move on to new business.

I think what we have in mind while not 100% revolutionary, will change the way that tabletop miniature games are played. Exodus is due to release shortly, 1 more book and then I can assue you we will give you what you ask for

Are there already new plans for scenarios and how to get them to us?

That stinks about Harbinger. I always enjoyed looking through them.

As for the Scenarios, would it be possible to post them as PDFs on the Website? That way players could download them and read them at their leisure.

Also, that allows for some great asymetric games - I am thinking of that scenario from Dark Age 1.0 in which the Dragyri and St. Mark had different goals and did not know what the other's goal was. Sure, it was only good for one game of surprise, but it was still fun.

I only recently discovered Harbinger but just from looking through the information on their website I was quite impressed and interested. As such I'm very disappointed to hear about what happened to them (as well as the attitude of some journalists in breaking the news early).

On the other hand (and not wishing to sound to mercenary) it now seems impossible to get our hands on the scenarios that were published with the magazine. Therefore I would definitely back the idea of putting them up on the website (as was done back in the pre-Genesis days). However I'm sure there could be all kinds of legal implications which might make this tricky...

No, there would not be any legal implications as these are our scenarios. What's up in the air is from Dark Age perspective, how best to deliver/package the scenarios for the best experience for our community & the players.
