Damnatus you mean? It's OK from what I've seen, good design but the plot/acting/camerwork looks shaky to me. Theres even a few scenes cut from Dawn of War in there! However the special effects are very good considering they have no proper backers.

So, back to the original post...has anybody seen this movie yet? I just noticed it on the shelf at Best Buy on Sunday so...guess I'll pick it up and see for myself. LOL

Excellent. I just got home. Sick as a dog so I'm going to curl up on the couch and watch it.

You shouldn't have been "out and about" if you were sick!

I'm glad you didn't say "oot and aboot". And I know, right? But I promised the rest of the staff that I would get started on *our next big project* as soon as I get the new software installed on my PC. And in order to do that, I realized the best approach would be to get a new primary drive so...had to go buy one.

    Will do.

Yeah, I'd be curious to hear your opinion. Mine? It was pretty bad. Horrible direction and editing during the battle scenes, and performances phoned in by the whole cast. The effects were very low budget too.

I was going to say, my biggest complaint is the voice-over. The voices all sound...off.

Unlike Breten, I didn't think it was horrible though. The mutants were all identical...which is both a plus (story-line) and a minus (as a visual). A big plus IMHO was the sound effects of the guns and artillery. It wasn't just standard "pwooo-pwooo". Overall, I think it was better than Ghosts of Mars....but not much. LOL
