    Warfair 2006

Well, Kyle showed up this year to kick my butt in Rizzens place. Its a Warfair tradition that I get beat at Dark Age at least once, and this year was no exception. Kyle brought a whole mess of very well painted minis to face off against Grafters Nation of Dragyri, but I guess he felt it was all too much for him since the nation failed to appear in order to take the field of battle. Maybe it was the dipped versus finely painted minis that scared him away, but I guess we will never know since Grafter was not present to explain.

As you already guessed, Kyle handed me my annual ass kicking, and there are pictures to attest to my defeat. At least St. Mark stood his ground (behind a wall) to meet the final Skarrd rush. Pictures and details as soon as I have some time and sleep (its 3:00AM here and we have to be up early again). Here are a few teaser pictures (please note the very noticable absence of any of Grafters Dragyri in the pictures).

    Jeff

(Oh, Kyle suggested that I should not push Grafters buttons, but I can't help it! Its too much fun! )

Damn. Looks like there was some fun there. And Grafter was a no-show? Odd taht.

Yes, that is one helluva lot of Banes!

Jeff; thanks muchly for sharing these pics and the brief synopsis. I'm looking forward to the lengthy debriefing! It sure does suck that there aren't more big cons here.

Big Con? was there one? We must have missed it . . . .

Actually Warfair was scaled down this year by excluding the GW fan boys. Military gamers and a few old school Sci-Fi with Warmachine thrown in for some new blood. All had a great time and we are hopeing that there will be another one in February.

    (More later . . . . . . )

OK I should have left Jeff's place a little earlier but that would have ment missing Warrior Knights! It was a long slow drive back to Raleigh in the rain but the weekend was a total blast.

Hasslefree Alice or Disturbed Alice show up on battlefields depending on weather I am the dull guys or the bad guys.
