Sneak Peek - Skarrd Buzzblades, Might

Okay, it's been way too long since we showed you guys anything new, so I'm going to reveal a bit of green today. Don't get too excited, as they're scheduled for September release.

Now, we don't normally like to leak greens, but I know you guys will be suitably impressed.

And since I know what your first question will be (it was my first question anyway); how big are they?

    Check this out!

    Who's excited?

Awesome! The detail is great, lots of sinews to make for good shading. Can't wait to add these to my force! Now if only Exodus would come out...

Definitely more fitting than the previous ones. It was kind of weird having special buzzblades that are smaller than the normal ones. o.O So, are they going to be small or medium base?

Great stuff! Skarrd is looking to be my third purchase (about 1/2 through buying my St. Mark/Forsaken).

    ---

As to showing Greens, I can't recommend it enough. They are easier to see than bare-pewter. And, I actually perfer it (on a model I am looking to buy and paint) to seeing only studio painted versions.

Studio painters are so good, at times they can hide problem areas of the model, or add details that are not on the fig (tat's, and other freehand, especially).

When you see the greens you end up seeing exactly what in on that model. (And, these look darned cool!)

Let me second this. I know Grafter is big on showing nicely painted models only but I like to be able to imagine my army's colors on them. Not that I don't ejoy an Alexi Z painted figure.

You can still see the same original concept art in the might pieces. They have a feeling of menace that is laking in the older figs. Despite having a fully painted squad of the old figs I am really excited about this new release!

Instead of using the older figs as straight up Buzzies could they be the other Sister of Charity squad? I forget the name as I have always used Mights.

Also is the boxed set coming with a Sister of Charity and if so will it be a new one?
