Let me start by saying this game has some of the coolest miniatures I've ever seen and after reading the quickstart rules I'm delighted by its ease of understanding coupled with its tacticle flexability. Anyway I want to start a Brood warband (you gotta love crazed biological nightmares) but even though the book isn't out yet I want know what their fluff is as a factions' background is very important to me. What are they trying to accomplish? How are they going to do it? Why are they going to do it? Where do puds come from mommy? Until the Brood arrive in all their wickedness I was going to start a small Saint Mary warband. I want to know what Mary and her followers are capable of? What makes them stand out? Whats so special about Mary herself (other than looking damn sexy when she's killing)? Is she great in bed? All these are very important questions that I'd love some answers to.

Many questions, almost too many for one post

So I'll restrict myself in answering a bit ...

The Brood are a bio-engineered race which had their big bang by accident. They were never meant to be and left to die centuries ago, but due to the Brood Mere, the almighty Mother creature at the hub of the race, they survived and evolved into something completely new, something neither human, alien or animal. Something new.

As a race they want to survive and evolve, and they want something else, they want to understand why they were left to die, and they want vengeance.

Mary you can find in Exodus. So in short, she's fighting a desperate defensive war against the Skarrd, who abducted her and tortured her once. Now she seeks revenge. In social things she lacks some things and has, on the other hand, legendary characteristics. She is constantly torn between seeking revenge and protecting her kin, thus she is a holy icon of hatred and mercy. No one knows where she will finally heed.

All for now, in Exodus you'll find more about Mary, and when we did Evolution (which is rather soon) you can learn more about the Brood.

Well, that all depends upon your perspective. It seems she surrounds herself with sexy, scantily-clad women who are psychoticsally obsessed with her. I would guess that yeah, she rocks in bed if you're one of her girls. Her main guys are Contradiction, and you can see how happy they look. make your own decisions from there

61 Slaves. Buta also another 40 for my Air Caste army. And I've assembled another 80 for my various friends. After assembling almost 200 slaves, you start running out of new options in the "infinite pose" possibilities...

BTW, I am still a perv but not a slavemaster, I dropped the S&M/B&D thing years ago and haven't even done any crossdressing in a couple of years. It's amazing how your energy for the little things in life dwindles as you get more involved in Dark Age...

Torn between the holy texts and a hot woman, that must suck. No wonder they're called Contradictions.

As for puds, they probably come from eggs, but the question of which came first, the pud or the egg, is still up for debate.
