I painted this Spinespur mini today. That I think this is very cool REALLY shows my age. (Note the base.)

Great job, I just finished off some Spine Spur minis. Love the fig, where did the base come from?

    Hey Gang,
So I finally got back around to my favorite TTG addiction Dark Age. I've finally begun work on my Skarrd Tribe. I completed a 'test' model for color and basing. I created the base out Squadron Brand Green Putty... still working on refining the look. I wanted an arid earth, hard pan, kind of look. The primary colors will be yellow and black. All of the models will sport some freehand similar to what's on his cape.. just cleaner. Let me know what you think of the colors and basing. Your feedback is really helpful especially since this was just a test model and I kind of rushed through it. Furthermore, this is my first time sculpting a base and trying out that dirty weathered look. All feedback and comments are more than welcome... they are demanded!

    Thanks

The base looks cool! I really like the symbol on the cape. The figure looks at home in the desert.

Just received my latest batch of dark age figs, so I should be working on assembling those this week.

Mandible, Warwind 02, Banger, Shades, and finally the Firestorms for my St. Mary force. Only Mandible came in an old blister without a new card.

Hey gang... Got some Skarrd 2.0 finished today.
    My first Buzz Blade.
Check out the base please. This is my 2nd attempt at a sculpted base. I like this one much more than the 1st one I did (Tribal Father, prior page), let me know what I need to do to improve further please.
I went for a much more sickly look with this Buzz Blade. I like it much better. I feel like this guy 'feels' more like a Skarrd than the Tribal Father I painted. I tried to give him some bruises and rust effects... new techniques for me.
As always, feedback is not only appreciated but DEMANDED!

    Buzz Blade #1

The Tribal Father I'm compairing this guy to is on pg 59 of this thread.
    Thanks

Looks awesome! The colors are really working.

I just know that I am old school because my first thought was "That's not a Buzzblade" . It's been a long day.
