Thank You Everyone Who Attended Gen Con!

Hi there, I wanted to take a moment to post my thanks to eveyone who attened Gen Con this year! Thank you for helping make Gen Con 2006 the biggest and best convention for Dark Age to date!

To everyone who participated and is now hooked on the game, welcome aboard, from here on out the ride gets fun and dangerous! Thank you for participating and supporting the game. I hope to see you all next year where we have bigger and better things in store for you!

To everyone who participated and was dissatisfied with what they encountered. My most sincere apologies are in order that we did not meet with your expectations or you felt like you didn't get anything out of the game. If you felt put out or put down, again I offer my sincere apologies. I only hope you all consider giving us another try sometime in the future. I personally am open to suggestions on how we can make things better.

To everyone who couldn't make it, get ready for next year! Sorry you couldn't come out. Life is a fickle thing that frequently gets in our way, so it is understandable. However now that this year is over, you have no excuse for next! Make plans to come to Gen Con 2007! Next year is going to be bigger and better than ever! No excuses, start plannin' and get ready for the next phase of Dark Age!

I want to give special thanks out to five great Dark Age fanatics on the boards who took the time to help out, participate in the games, or just come by to say hi and check out all us crazy people. dragonlady, Galyn, Rua Baineann, and Goliath it was good to see you all and put faces to names. I hope you all consider comeing back for more next year and join up with the playtesters and Outcasts! If you havn't done it already of course! It was a great pleasure to have you all there! I look forward to seeing you all on the forums.

Mr. Sota. You are really cool man! It was great having you at with us with your words of wisdom and thensome. It was good to see you and have you as part of the team. Way to go man!

To our extremely talented and dedicated kick ass terrain guru Racel! Man you built some kick ass demo boards. Hands down they were the best at the con. Everyobody loved them and couldn't keep their cameras away! I can't begin to tell you how many people said that those boards were the best at the con! Your dedication and hard work is easy to see and has paid off ten fold. Thank you very much for your help in this! Hopefully we'll get you out to Gen Con next year!

To Kenyon who built our big board. I know it's been a long time since you did anything for Dark Age, but your efforts live on! Your work along with Racel's was the talk of Gen Con this year! Good show on that!

To Grafter and Stacy, I wish to thank them for all the dedicated work and devotion to the Con. Great thanks to you both for your part in putting on the show! You are both dedicated and hard core. My great appreceation to you for your efforts! You two are the heart of Dark Age.

To Jordan, who unfortunatlly got sidelined big time due to troubles. Im very sorry things sucked so bad for you. All is good, and the situation is understandable man! Get better and get back into the game! I hope to see you come next year.

Last but definatly, definatly not least are the dedicated Outcasts and Playtesters who helped make the events a success that they were!
Kyle, Pyrrhus, m0nk3yb0y, and Duskland, if it wasn't for you, the events wouldn't have been half as good as they were. These guys I think beat out the majority of the other people there putting on events. You guys really pulled off a good show. My great thanks and appreceation to you all! You know you have the love, but I wanted to just let you know again.

Guys it was a wonderfull show and good times! I look forward to seeing and talking with you all in the coming year here on the boards and otherwise!

Next stop, Dragon Con 2006! No booth this year, but expect more great times and great games!

Thanks Quinn, seems like you did a great job on the events and getting it all together. Glad that it all worked out as well as it did, as is proven by all the new faces on the forum. Just sorry that we could not have been in the same position a few years ago that we are now!

Yep, Harle did a great job planning this, and it shows...

I agree, but no point crying over spilled milk... we are still the same company with the same kick ass product, (in fact our rules have evolved nicely since then) we are getting a second wind, it's all good, we will pump through it!

Hey, I still have my DA slide ruler and calculator! Nothing in those rules a little Calculus and Trigonometry would not take care of . . . . so what, just a little math . . . math never hurt anyone, well not too much . . . .

You know Ford, you have way to nice a disposition to be doing this. Comparatively speaking. I actually came away with no complaints. (except for the stock shortages, but that wasn't you). Anyway, as of now I'll be set for next year

Stock shortages, blame that on me, never in my wildest would I think that we would run out of slaves and Soul Searchers... and on the last day when i already checked out of the hotel with all the extra castings already back in the truck. I will surely make a note of that for upcoming events...

yeah, we forgive you fro that mr. sota.. (the play testers do that all the time too.. it's part of being human, overwhelmed, having a kick ass time.. slip ups happen.. just roll with it.. as long as the game/demo was fun, it can be overlooked

Easy there, mate. I've literally just arrived home. I haven't even had time to start painting my newly purchased goodies yet - I would have on the place, but you know :P

I'm going to dig out my camera cable and get those photos I took up too. I'm sure there's one or two that people will want to see
