Multiple Weapons in a Weapon Group- simultaneous?

Note to self- don't try and hit X'Cess in close combat if you can help it....

on that note, and at the risk of being kicked off this forum for too many rules questions in one day...

certain effects like a Critical Miss, Malfuntion, Retaliation, etc... can happen during an attack.

If I have 2 weapons in one group- say Chitin with a Rt and Lft Cleaver- do I carry out one and resolve all effects before carrying out the second, or are they considered to be simultaneous, thus any Malfunction or X'Cess hitting me from a miss, while killing me- would still allow the other weapons in a weapon group to be carried out?

Lowest to Highest applies here (Pg 16. Genesis)

    Resolve the Chitin

You can never ask too many rules questions. I like answering them as it challenges me to quote where they come from, and then if I can't, I take it to the team and say, "Oh, we missed this one"

thanks Mr. Sota- that is a great general rule!

See, I knew you should have signed my rulebook at 1 a.m.!

so if a multi-wound unit rolls 2 "20s" on their 3x3 Toxic Mistress Armor save- do they end up taking 3 wounds- 1 for the failed save and 1 extra for each critical failure?

    They do indeed!

    Genesis Page 37:
For weapons with PW multiplier each 20 rolled on the Armour Save causes the loss of 1 additional HP

See I only just found that out the other day. Always worth re-reading those rules and catching up on all the bad habits you've got into.

    Reaver

I know for my reaver, I roll a different color die for each weapon since she has 2 different weapons. Make note of which one is which

That's an excellent idea. For double attacks like Bane, 2 dice is sufficient, but with 2 different weapons, it is always good to indicate which is which to avoid disagreements.

*Note, I'm not saying this is a bad idea, just being the anal rules guy
Actually, you should only do this if you are splitting attacks on two different units (like when your in BtB with two slaves and say you are going to hit both with one attack group)....becuase other than that, you should just roll, and they are resolved lowest to highest.

Do you mean "lowest to highest" as in the positions in the Attack Group box? If there are 2 weapon types, you start with the one on the bottom?
