Well, it only took most of 2006, but my Pud Throwers are now done:

Yay for CMON!
But seriously I like em not sure if its the photography or not but I like the "dry" look youve got going for them
The deep green puds kinda break up the color scheme. Keep it more towards yellow and you'll have a stonger composition. The pics are a bit rough so it's hard to say much more.
I saw these on CMON yesterday....already voted. Don't worry about what those elitists vote on your paintjobs. I gave you a solid 8.0
Pics are from the scanner- my camera hasa lousy macro function
@vaxillus: hmm . . . but I didn't want the puds to disappear into the Thrower
i like the cmon posts, but the monkeys that post there just make me wanna punch them.. hardly any of the critiques ever post pics of their own models, so i don't give them two thoughts.. idiots.. now, if they have stuff up and i can see it, i will give them more credit..
Dear sirs,
It has come to our attention that this website encourages an activity known as "pud-throwing". We are deeply concerned about such activities, and for the welfare and safety of the puds in question. Abuse of puds may carry criminal liability, and can be prosecuted. We urge you to take the necessary steps to ensure that no puds are harmed in the course of your activities. Agents are being dispatched to oversee the care of the puds in your jurisdiction.
Sincerely,

Not to mention many of those here have been found guilty of Pud pulling... if you are currently pulling your pud on a regular basis you should reframe from it immediately.
The colors you've chosen provide good contrast on the figures. Pud color is a little jarring though. I think that a quick wash or inking where different colors meet would really help to set off the details of the figure and also helps to give it a little bit of a cleaner look as it defines the edges of painted areas. The metallics really didn't scan well and I think that's hurting your score a little. It's hard to get them to photograph well with diffusing your light in some way, which isn't really possible with a scanner. Are you more concerned with your score or with having models ready for gaming?
This is true. I'd suggest using a camo green to make it fit in with the more earthy tones. The one you're using is too much on the lime/grass green side.Originally Posted by Pyrrhus
