    Samaria...Anarch Style (Terrain Boards)

By popular request I have posted some early production pics of 4 of my modular boards. The picture quality sucks but you can see where im going at least.

    Wasteland board 1
This is a pretty fun board but the hills are a bit steep in some areas.

    Wasteland board 2
    My favorite to play on.

    Creekbed board
I wanted a dry creekbed to play on. This should be pretty spectacular when finished.

I still have two more Wasteland urban boards to build along with a couple of wasteland boards with smaller hills.

    Swamp board 1
Just a piece of my future project. This is gonna be a fun swamp to play on. I havent done very much work on it yet.

I cant wait to use it but I will not finish it until I have my brood painted.

    Comments and ideas welcome.

2 ft x 2 ft... as will be all of my moble terrain. I am thinking of doing some 2x4 ft boards for home use though. I am also debating doing 1x1 ft city block boards for the forsaken.

They are so easy to do. I am thinking of doing a tutorial on how to do them on a budget. I lucked up and had the foam cut at the hardware store. I am going to get at least one more sheet of the 2" and probably one sheet of 3/4" inch.

These look great! I wish I could find a place around me that would cut the foam into blocks. Home Depot used to be willing to do it, but no more. They say it dulls their blades too fast and that they only cut wood or similar materials now. Really sucks. I love the way you have cut into the boards to make the terrain more 3D, it adds a lot more interest to the playing area.

What do you plan to use to fill in the deep areas on the swamp board? Curious since water effects and I have a rather sorted past.

    Can't wait to see more!

I got 2-3 more boards to this stage... not for sure why there is not pics. Maybe tomorrow.

Very nice boards indeed. Love the gritty texture and the ruined buildings to go with it. Just need to see a Forsaken / Skarrd Blood bath to have the ambience just right.

    Looks great
