Brood Leaders

Alright im pretty new i picked up the game a Gen Con 07 in indy and have been reading through evolution like crazy. I play the brood becasue they are awesome and the models are cool. My stratagy with almost all of the miniature games that i never keep a consistant list. This brings me to my questin about Brood Leaders. I been running through alot of possible combinations with bio-gens but i lack the battle experience to know what works. This is what i am currently looking at
Helexa with Symbiotic Implant and Toxic Vapor
Mean Jellybean with Toxic Vapor and Goo
Murtros with Toxic Vapor
Scion with Toxic Vapor
If you cant tell i like Toxic Vapor alot, any input from more experienced players would be greatly appreciated

Toxic Vapour is a nice choice, especially on Scion it'll make her damn hard to deal with in CA. If your opponent knows this keep her clear of his guns.
Adrenaline is always a good choice to get squads of ratchets or broodlings into CA faster.
And frankly, I love things which are offensive, the more so the better, so I'd go with acid attack, venom spray and phosphorus gig. Don't worry about trying things out, its the best way to learn the ropes.

I'm going with magpie on this one. Acid Attack - Venom Spray and the Gig. I'd save the Gig for higher points games. Aside from that she is lethal in a variety of combinations.

Toxic Vapors is beautiful in every situation. The old saying 'ppl don't plan to fail they fail to plan.' With TVapors you are laughing as its automatically activated and will make anyone thing twice about getting in hand to hand.

I agree with everyone else and their talk of the awesomeness that is "automatic" stuff. Stuff that doesn't cost activations to use are always awesome, and they make brood even better at kicking the crap out of their opposition. Brood rocks, and Toxic Vapor rocks even more!

Don't be afraid to use Venom Spray or Acid attack - both are cheap ranged acid attacks that round out a Faction that is known for lacking in both. I have also had a lot of success with both.

I'd even give Helexa the Acid Attack vs the TV in that she's a support leader moreso then combat ready. Vemon Spray works great with MJB as he can thin out swarm armies easily without wasting precious AP.
