I haven't tried Dark Age yet, so I have some initial questions. From reading the quick start rules, and being an avid player of Chronopia, it sounds like the same game engine. How close is the rules set?

Got it. The creators took the Chronopia engine, which they wanted to use for Chronopia II, and did Dark Age.

it's almost two seperate game systems when you get right down to it.
