If my situation is any indicator then I'd say they are counting unregistered votes. If I seriously got put through all that crap for something that doesn't even count, then what was the point?

Also, I'm not really sure it matters if the votes are registered or not. Being registered hardly prevents people from being malicious. And its not particularly difficult to make a new account either. The voting system itself is just flawed from the start. Its a neat idea, but it doesn't take into account the fact that people are bastards. They're bastard covered bastards with a creamy bastard filling.

Ya all of the models were base coated, washed, and highlighted.
Thursday was detail, more highlight.
Friday was blood effects, basing, and photo shoot. My paint area is a disaster right now. Must clean and get ready for the next speed session.

Wurm: this is how peer review works and at the end of the day it's just a bunch of opinions. Sure people will make unwarented comments or score rediculously low for no reason. It's hard to please everyone and I would say its impossible.

Over all you minis are awesome. I hope they count all votes since a lot of people browse and vote with out signing up. Heck I was one of those unregistered voters back in the day.

Well, I hope they'll allow only votes from registered users. At this point even someone's mum can sit there and vote all day long:/

Yeah, the Coolmini system isn't perfect. Haters are gonna hate, and peeps are gonna solicit all of their forum buddies to vote for them. Its a populartiy contest as much as anything else. That being said, finding decent judges is to hard to do, and the large quantity of from Coolmini really does help in leveling things out a bit... again its not perfect, but hey, it'll have to do.

There really needs to be better regulation for this contest. The vote sniping is seriously getting out of hand. In the past hour I just watched each of the top 3 entries gain 50-60 votes and drop from 7.8 to 6.9...

Absolutely ridiculous that people can't just behave themselves and vote fairly.
