    Mongo smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssshhhh!!

    Hey guys just a quick WIP of my Mongo for my outcasts band.

    Just have some work done on the flesh for now. Need to go back and tidy a bit up... front leg, definately going to be doing a bit more work on his face as well. I think I have the arms, chest, abs etc... all finished up though. Let me know what you think.

    Thanks rabbit!

    For the skin I started with a Tallarn flesh base coat. Then I hit it with a reaper MSP dark red brown wash...(the pot doesn't have a color name..) Then I came back with tallarn flesh highlights. Mixed in some Rackham Red, and some Rackham Ephren blue in to the base coat and made a super duper thin wash and started washing all of the muscles with that. I highlighted again with the tallarn flesh mixed with a bit of P3 Menoth white. Then I pulled all the colors together with some super thin washes of the base coat.

    I applied a light dusting of a white primer. So to answer your question no I am not painting directly on the resin. Hoping to finally get a bit of time to work on this guy again this weekend.
