Looks pretty good to me, except for the thing he stands on, not that it's not well done, just that I think a more natural rock would have been better.

Thanks! I really wanted to forgo the cork base and such for this guy, but perhaps some pine bark or something might have had more visual appeal.

Cesspool looks good and I don't see anything wrong with the base. It's just different. If you want to look at some pine bark basing, I used pine bark to base my Mongo in another thread. It's really easy to do and looks excellent when done.
